Lesson Policies and Terms
The English and Hungarian lessons are conducted through Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Google Meet or WhatsApp. Each lesson lasts 50 minutes.
Classes take place by appointment during office hours. The teacher reserves the right to decline a request of an initial consultation if there are no available slots or the prospective client's preferred slots are taken up. The free 15-minute initial consultation comes with no strings attached. You are not obligated to order any services if you sign up for the consultation.
The price of one lesson is defined in the Price List you can find on the homepage. Invoices are payable within 14 days of the issue date. The payment can be made through mobile or internet banking, or a direct deposit at the bank. In case of a direct deposit, the client is required to pay the additional fee requested by the bank.
If a client decides to sign up for a language course, they are required to complete and sign a registration form (online or a printed version). The sign-up form can be sent to the teacher via email to peira.english@gmail.com or by post to Ďumbierska 908/8, Košice-Sever 040 01. In case of posting the sign-up form, the client is required to pay the postage. By signing the form, the client acknowledges that they are aware of these Lesson Policies and Terms and consent to the processing of their personal data (GDPR).
According to the cancellation policy, the client may cancel a lesson no later than 8:00 AM on the day of the scheduled lesson. The client can cancel the lesson via email (peira.english@gmail.com), text message (+421 917 944 161) or through Microsoft Teams, Google Chat and WhatsApp. If the lesson was not cancelled properly (there was no cancellation at all or it was late), the client is required to pay for the lesson. Three consecutive missed lessons may be considered an indication that the client no longer wishes to continue the course and the appointments can be offered to other existing or prospective clients. The teacher is also required to inform the client if they cannot attend a lesson.
